**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

As the Office and Logistics Coordinator your role will include:

- Working with the Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the business.
- Developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and reports.
- Managing inventory and procurement processes.
- Collaborating with teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Communicating effectively with team members, clients, and vendors.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files.
- Building and maintaining strong and long-lasting client relationships.
- Establishing and implementing office procedures and practices to improve efficiency and productivity and compliance.
- Maintaining the general upkeep of the premises.
- Carrying out routine checks to ensure safety and security.
- Proactively attending to general issues, simple problems, and troubleshooting.
- Managing, overseeing, and directing driver routes, rates, and daily manifests.
- Negotiating driver contracts and ensuring pay is accurate.
- Ensuring all employee records are up to date, secure and compliant with Employment Standards.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

As the Office and Logistics Coordinator, you will bring:

- Proven experience working in a professional office environment.
- That “can do” attitude to easily perform important, random tasks.
- Knowledge if Xcelerator Courier Management Routing software an asset
- Proven experience in logistics is valuable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extremely high standards of customer service
- Organizational and time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- An ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- A capability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
- An ability to sit in front of a computer for many hours a day.
- Enthusiasm, and passion, with an ability to be calm under pressure.
- A class 5 driver’s license.
- A forklift training is an asset.
