**Assignment and Term**:
This is a temporary (1.0 FTE) position and will commence on December 7, 2023 and expire December 6, 2024, or upon return of the regular employee.

**Qualifications**:
Master of Education Degree with specialization in Educational Psychology

Currently registered or eligible to be registered with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists

Demonstrated ability to take initiative and follow direction.

Must work well with others and independently.

Excellent time management skills.

Strong organizational skills.

Address referrals from assigned schools and provide comprehensive services to students.

Provide ongoing assessment and consultation regarding goals and activities to optimize the ability of students to function in their educational, home, and community environments. Priority areas of focus include assessment, evaluation, intervention and consultation.

Provide written reports regarding student assessment and recommendations and share them with parents and school division personnel through team meetings.

Keep an electronic record of services provided to students using a school division data system.

Maintain licensure and registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists.

Need to travel between communities within an hour of Yorkton to provide services to assigned rural schools.

**Salary and Benefits**:
The School Division offers a competitive compensation package. The Occupational Therapist shall receive a salary of Class V or VI on the STF grid plus Tier 2 allowance as negotiated through LINC. Further benefits include a comprehensive health and dental benefit plan, opportunity to attend professional development seminars and travel compensation.

Applicants not currently working for GSSD will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record and vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
