J.D. Lawn Service is seeking a summer student to join our team

Our Garden Maintenance crew is looking for an extra hand through the summer months. In this position you will have the opportunity to work outdoors and travel from site to site maintaining residential and commercial gardens.

In this role, you will learn:

- How to identify various types of plant material - ie. annuals, perennials, woody ornamentals, deciduous & evergreen shrubbery
- Learn to identify the presence of unwanted pests and their effect on plants
- Learn the necessary tools required for maintaining healthy plant material
- Learn the correct methods of shrubbery trimming to maintain plant health

**Requirements**:

- Must be available from May through end of August/early September
- Valid license and clean driving record
- No experience necessary - training will be provided
- Full availability during the week and the occasional weekend

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
