**Position Summary**

The Shipping Lead provides day-to-day leadership and guidance to a team of warehouse clerks/technicians. They ensure all materials are shipped, documented, and properly stored withing the facility in line with Quality Assurance Guidelines. They also oversee the picking, preparation, loading and shipping of finished products to customers.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily set-up, process flow and troubleshooting of any issues that arise in the warehouse. Manage the sorting and storage of finished products on racks, shelves or in bins according to company standards.
- Correctly label product so that label can be seen on the outside of the pallet. Assist in preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders pulling materials; packing boxes; placing ordering in the delivery area.
- Transfer materials and completed packaging products in conformance with quality and safety procedures.
- Move items to storage areas using forklift. Breakdown and re-stack product from pallets during audits.
- Ensure that products are appropriately stored on racking in accordance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Oversee the start-up, calibration, shut down, cleaning and sanitization of all equipment and tools. Perform pre-equipment checks daily.
- Provide training, coaching and support to the team of warehouse staff.
- Identify pot Monitor all warehouse duties to ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure the highest level of quality, safety and integrity are maintained in all actions, duties and behaviors.
- Other duties, responsibilities and activities as required. Current functions and responsibilitiesmay bechanged, updated or amended at any time, with or without notice. Entail issues and notify the supervisor and/or manager as needed.

**Qualifications, Education and Experience**
- Forklift Certificate and Experience an advantage
