**Summary**:inmotion is a dynamic and innovative marketing agency dedicated to crafting compelling and impactful visual narratives for our clients. We are seeking a talented and visionary Art Director to join our team and lead the creative direction of our projects.

As an Art Director at inmotion, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and executing visually stunning campaigns that effectively communicate our clients' messages. You will lead the artistic vision, ensuring that all designs align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a passion for innovative design.

**This position requires working out of our Ottawa, ON office 3 days/week (Monday-Wednesday anchor days).**

**Here's what you'll do**:

- Creative Direction: Lead the artistic direction of projects from concept to completion, ensuring consistency and excellence in design across all deliverables.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and other team members to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and execute campaigns that meet client objectives.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor members of the creative team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster professional growth and ensure high-quality work.
- Trend Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations to keep our agency at the forefront of creativity and innovation.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Presentation Skills: Present concepts and designs to clients in a clear, compelling manner, effectively articulating the creative vision and rationale behind each decision.
- Directly manage and mentor members of the design team.

**As our next Art Director, you will bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Art Director or in a similar creative role within a marketing agency or related industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative projects, including print and digital campaigns.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving client needs and project requirements.
- 10 - 12 years of experience in Design and overall Art Direction
