- Have good communication and problem solving skills
- Take direction well from supervisors

**Responsibilities**
- Lead camp activities for a group of 20-30 campers ages 4-10
- Represent Little Medical School by providing high quality programming and customer service
- Model positive behaviour for campers and other staff members
- Follow camp schedules and direction from the lead instructor on site
- Make adjustments to activities/schedule to better suit the camper's needs
- Supervise campers at all times and support them in trying new things
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of program space and materials
- Bring your energy and enthusiasm to camp daily
- Complete required paperwork as assigned by lead instructor
- Provide direction and assistance to volunteers
- Use good judgement to respond to camper concerns and questions
- Perform related duties as assigned

**Hours**
- Camp will run for 7 weeks
- Mandatory training days during the month of June
- Must be available Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm beginning July 2nd until August 30th
- Working 25-40 hours a week depending on location and camp theme
- Employment is conditional on meeting minimum registration numbers
- Program will not operate July 1 and August 5-9th

**Requirements**:

- Are enrolled in post-secondary education in health sciences or related field
- Have experience working with a camp or children’s programming
- Have experience working in leadership roles (not required but an asset)
- Have valid CPR level C and Standard First Aid (or willing to obtain this by June 1st)
- Can provide a satisfactory Police Reference Check (Vulnerable Sector) issued after March 1, 2024.
- Have access to reliable personal transportation is an asset
- Can provide references upon request
- Must be able to work at the following locations: 305 Laurentian Drive, 237 Wilson Ave, RIM Park.

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
