**This position is a seasonal position and is from May 2025 - August 2025 or April 2025 - October 2025.**

Located in Watrous, SK and reporting to the Research Agronomist, you will be involved with the establishment, maintenance and harvest of small plot yield trials.

**What you will do**:

- Seed bed preparation and flagging of sites.
- Seed cleaning, seed treatment, and setup of seeding envelopes.
- Seeding of small plot trials.
- Maintenance of small plot trial sites.
- Operating small plot field equipment such as tractors and tillage tools.
- Driving a truck and trailer to move equipment between sites.
- Taking accurate and precise agronomic notes.
- Operating small plot combines.
- Equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Assisting technicians, agronomists, and plant breeders with other duties as required.
- Some travel will be required.

**What you will bring**:

- Punctual, reliable and able to work outdoors.
- High level of attention to detail resulting in consistent outcomes.
- Proven problem solving and critical thinking abilities in team and individual settings.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Small plot field trial experience or agricultural or farm experience is an asset but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude with farm machinery is an asset but not required.
