Gas Station Attendant/cashier

- Provide excellent customer service to all gas station customers
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist customers with fueling their vehicles and provide information on fuel types and prices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including restrooms and convenience store area
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory of merchandise
- Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, and car accessories
- Process electronic sales transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Handle jewelry sales transactions, if applicable

- Previous experience in cash handling and operating a cash register is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems for electronic sales is a plus
- Experience in jewelry sales is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers
- Ability to upsell products and provide recommendations to customers
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of stock management and inventory control
- Familiarity with phone etiquette for answering customer inquiries

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gander, NL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Serving It Right (preferred)
