We are looking for a Culinary Clerk:
Key Responsibilities:

- Assist customers in selecting products, providing recommendations, and offering information about product features and usage
- Prepare food including pizza, support deli stocking and merchandising
- Monitor inventory levels, rotate products, and ensure proper storage and handling of deli and food items
- Ensure all food items are presented with the highest level of quality and appearance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to the appropriate department.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing guidance and answering inquiries about the food offerings.
- Serve customers at the hot counter, presenting food options and ensuring an enjoyable dining or take out experience.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the store's products, including ingredients, cooking requirements, and dietary restrictions.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food-based environment is an asset
- Knowledge of food storage temperatures.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact with diverse customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.55 per hour
