**DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES**:
Leading and working alongside a construction team or alone and coordinating with subcontractors as required.

Ensure projects are completed and built according to approved plans, specifications, and shop drawings while maintaining high-quality standards and deadlines.

Working with clients throughout the job process to ensure an excellent customer experience

Perform rough and finish carpentry work, including strategic demolition, framing, flooring (sub and finish) trim work, cabinetry installation, plastering and paintings.

Actively manage opportunities to avoid risks and achieve the best possible results for quality, schedule and financial targets.

Learn and utilize technology to streamline and systemize productivity (CompanyCam, etc.)

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite, adhering to all safety regulations, protocols, and best practices.

This position will report to superiors and actively participate in implementing systems to standardize our customer service and quality of work.

**Skills**:

- Highly skilled Lead Carpenter with min. 5 years of experience as a construction lead on a team.
- Excellent at managing client expectations and communications during a large-scale, high-quality expectation renovation project.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions (interpret drawings and plans)
- Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Good communication skills (English & French)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment or solo
- A valid driver’s license and a vehicle
- Trustworthy, honest, respectful, accountable, positive, and reliable
- Able to take the initiative and actively problem-solve or troubleshoot any issues or challenges that may arise.

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 5 years (preferred)
