Bar Steward

**BAR STEWARD / BARTENDER POSITION**:

- Maintain cleanliness of the bar, glassware, and surrounding areas
- Take orders for drinks and food from patrons or serving staff.
- Provide table service as required.
- Clear and clean tables as required.
- Perform setups and takedowns as required.,
- Monitor coin games during shift.
- Maintain daily open and close inventory of supplies.
- Do a daily cash open and close.
- Operate a POS and Debit/Credit system
- Provide directions, answer questions, and offer suggestions.
- Greet customers, prepare and serve mixed drinks, cocktails, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages for patrons.
- Take beverage orders from serving staff and from patrons.
- Collect payment for beverages and record sales.
- Maintain the inventory of bar stock and order supplies
- Clean bar area and wash glassware.
- Ensures compliance with provincial liquor legislation and regulations.
- Assist with set-up and take down of functions, as required.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, remove garbage following functions, as required.
- Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e., more than 10 lbs./4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs./23 kg).
- Comply with Branch 414 Legion policies, procedures, regulations, rules, and applicable legislation.
- Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Program, in conjunction with management, and may act as a Representative or member of a local NPF Committee.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Legion Bar Chairperson.
- Report daily to the Legion Bar Chairperson.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Freelance
Part-time hours: 04-20 per week

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour
