Pottery Instructor

Pottery Instructor:
Our studio is looking for Pottery Instructor to join our team You must be passionate about your craft and willing to work with students of all ages and levels. This is for the Pottery instructors that may be looking for a place of their own as well. We have space we can provide for you.

Pay rate is based on the instructors’ level of experience and qualifications.

**Job Type**: Part-time hours: 0-10 per week

**Salary**: From $22 per hour

**Responsibilities**:

- Plans, organizes, implements and instructs program session for a variety of ages.
- Prepares lesson plans based on program curriculum prior to the start of the program session.
- Ensures necessary supplies and equipment list is provided prior to start of session.
- Ensures that the appropriate supplies and equipment are in place and operational before the start of each class.
- Ensures that the supplies and equipment are cleaned and stored away after use.
- Interacts with the public and all internal staff to provide program information.
- Performs administrative tasks necessary to support the program (i.e. attendance, incident and accident reports).

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated ability to teach appropriate age group, demonstrated artistic ability (portfolio), leadership training or volunteer experience
- Formal training and experience qualifications is an asset.
- CPR certification is an asset.

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evenings
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
