**Job Description**:

- Operate a DZ **Front End Truck **to transport metal materials to and from designated locations, including to and from other AIM sites
- Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery schedules, considering factors such as traffic conditions, distance, and customer requirements
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition
- Report any mechanical issues or damages to the maintenance department for timely repairs
- Complete accurate and thorough records of deliveries, including manifests, bills of lading, and any other required documentation
- Ensure all paperwork is properly completed and submitted in a timely manner
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries, interacting with customers and handling inquiries or concerns in a polite and helpful manner
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules, report any issues or delays, and maintain efficient communication channels

**Qualifications**:

- Valid DZ drivers license with a clean driving record
- 1-3 years experience operating a Front End Truck
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and traffic laws
- Excellent driving skills and ability to navigate various road and traffic conditions, in and across the GTA/GTHA
- Customer service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform loading and unloading activities as required
- Dependable, punctual, and able to meet delivery schedules
- Familiarity with metal recycling processes and materials is an asset
