Claims Representative

in Accident Benefits. This will be a fast-paced environment where your professionalism,
accuracy and efficiency will be key to your success in juggling multiple competing tasks.
This position is located in Exeter with a hybrid work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and interpret insurance policy wording to determine coverage and

evaluate entitlements that are fair and equitable.
- Communicate in a timely and respectful manner with customers, claimants,

lawyers and insurers to settle claims.
- Conduct investigations.
- Ensure all claims are clearly documented and that legislative requirements are
- met.- Handle claims as per company protocols and timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of claims handling experience.
- A college diploma or a university degree is an asset.
- Preference for those with experience includes work in the insurance industry, or
- working towards your Chartered Insurance Professional Designation (CIP).- An ability to demonstrate strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
