We are seeking early childhood educators who hold a level 2 or 3 classifications to join our team. We are also hoping that this position transition to a dual ECE/interim Director role with director compensation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the

physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
- Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities

such as games, crafts, reading and outings.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home - ensure that the

learning environment is physically, emotionally, and culturally a safe space.
- Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or

problems with parents and other staff members.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
- Oversee children's activities, such as meals and rest periods.
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social

development.

**Qualifications**:

- Level 2, or 3 certifications.
- Comfortable with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector.
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
- A positive, fun-loving attitude.
- Ability to work in a team and self-motivated

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $26.50-$28.78 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
