**Description**

**The Market Research & Budget Analyst supports the Marketing department through various data validation and analyzing process including market research, budget, brand management and etc.
- **Responsibilities**

**Research & Analytics (60%)**
- Support new vehicle launch process and brand development with market analysis and consumer research.
- Manage and report out brand performance metrics on a regular basis.
- Customer & product research utilizing internal/external sources; support providing insights to larger team.
- Support research projects/initiatives to help larger team.
- Support marketing projects leveraging research insight to guide business decisions. Support the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze key brand metrics.
- **Budget Control (40%)**
- Support marketing budget development process for yearly business plan and operational updates throughout the year including quarterly reconciliation.
- SAP data consolidation with marketing budget tracking reports to ensure accuracy and consistency of budget control.
- Coordinate with Finance department and procurement team to ensure department payments are made in a timely manner.
- Monthly variance analysis between processed invoices by the department vs SAP actual posting.
- Support DST process across the team for timely posting and approval.

**Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Education Required**

**- Formal degree from a college, university or 1-2 years of demonstrated work experience in research or accounting/budget related role
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills is a must (e.g.: pivot tables, conditional formatting, charting/graphing, file linking etc.)
- Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, reports and tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; team-oriented mindset
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- SAP experience is an asset
- Comfort with a process driven role with regular reporting outputs
- Inquisitive, curious, comfort with numbers
