We are currently looking for a responsible and dependable Parts Technician to work with FL Carriers, based in Calmar. The primarily responsibility for this role is processing orders for parts, opening work orders, making parts runs, and assisting the shop with general labour.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process orders and requests for parts
- Work closely with Heavy Duty Mechanics to understand needed parts for repairs
- Manage inventory levels of the shop by ensuring frequently-used parts are stocked appropriately
- Process payment transactions for parts ordered
- Drive out to sites to pick up ordered parts and bring back to shop
- Cleaning and organizing parts
- Loading & unloading parts
- Inquiring information from various vendors

**Qualifications**:

- High school degree or equivalent
- General labour, parts, or construction experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Preferably, knowledge of heavy-duty aftermarket and parts supply
- Solid customer service and communication skills
- Ability to utilize computer software

Hours of Work
The position requires a regular working schedule of Monday through Saturday with potential to have Saturdays off occasionally.
