Structural Fitter

Requirements:

- Previous STRUCTURAL FITTER EXPERIENCE. must be able to provide valid reference.
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Punctual
- Reliable

**Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate and assemble various metal components according to specifications
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape and fit metal pieces
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Operate forklift to move materials and equipment as needed
- Lift heavy objects using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations
- Perform pipe threading, ductwork installation, plasma cutting, soldering, and other mechanical tasks as required

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a fitter required
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations related to metal fabrication
- Experience with pipe threading, ductwork installation, plasma cutting, soldering, or other relevant skills is a plus

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

- Kingston, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Structural fitting: 2 years (required)
