Commerical Maintenance

Novacorp Properties Limited is currently searching for a Maintenance/ Painter position for a Commercial Office Building in Downtown Dartmouth.

**Your responsibilities for this position will include**:

- Conduct routine inspections, perform minor repairs, and maintenance on common and tenant areas;
- Ensure the appearance and safety of the grounds are kept to a high standard;
- Communicate regularly with the Operations Supervisor reporting any building deficiencies;
- Ability to work shift work and be available on an “on call” basis.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and competence in a wide variety of areas;
**Your skills & qualifications for this position include**:

- Familiarity with building systems, HVAC, Life Safety, etc.
- Experience in maintenance and painting in commercial buildings, interior and exterior;
- Able to address maintenance issues and repairs.
- Able to effectively assist in supervising contractors working in the building and on the property;
- Able to diplomatically solve problems, be responsive to tenants and able to work with other team members;
- Strong communication and organizational skills;
- Be a reliable, punctual, self-starter, who can work unsupervised when required;
- Conscientious with a great attention to detail.

**Salary**: $35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- painting: 1 year (preferred)
- maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
