Dispatcher - Flatbed / Heavy Haul

**Empire Transportation Ltd**., a proud member of the **Grant Group of Companies**, is looking for a full time dispatcher to work out of Grimsby.

This position is responsible for transportation planning, customer order management, customer service liaison and fleet dispatch. Cooperation and teamwork are required to ensure maximum profitability while providing exceptional client service.

**Responsibilities**
- Dispatch drivers in accordance with customer needs
- Create cost effective trucking routes that meet customer demands
- Ability to adjust to last minute changes in scheduling and communicate effectively with drivers and customers
- Effectively communicate within the company network
- Other duties as assigned
- Permitting oversize/overweight loads

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience working as a dispatcher, logistics coordinator or transportation customer service role is a definite asset
- Experience with oversize load permitting throughout North America
- Strong understanding of how to balance priorities
- Excellent communication, organizational & administration skills
- Great attention to detail and accuracy a must
- The ability to solve problems in a fast-moving environment
- Positive attitude with good people skills
- Proficient with TMS, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Excel
- Ability to work effectively without close supervision, collaboratively, independently & under tight timelines

Salary negotiable based on experience.
