- We are currently accepting resumes for positions as Xplore Home Internet, Shaw Direct Satellite TV & Cellular Boosters technicians who live in various parts of Ontario. We are expanding our team due to the strong demand for rural internet and television services._

- **Applicants considered for this position should have the following skills and experience**:_
- _Education: High School Diploma or equivalency_
- _Ability to work as a team with excellent communication skills_
- _Able to work independently, without supervision_
- _Competently operate computer programs such as Excel and iPhone/Android apps_
- _Comfortable with ladders, and working at heights_
- _Strong customer service skills are a MUST_
- _Desire to constantly learn new technologies_
- _Enjoy new challenges in the workplace_
- _Construction background is an asset_
- _Ability to troubleshoot issues with the help of our team, and on your own_
- _Physically fit and capable of lifting 45lbs_
- _Able to work weekends_
- **Applicants must have or be able to obtain**:_
- _Business License with HST number_
- _Valid Drivers License, and Insurance_
- _Smart Phone with Data Plan (Android or IOS)_
- _Laptop with Microsoft Office_
- _Working at Heights Training + Ladder Training_
- _Complete online training through Xplore during training period, on your own time_
- _Small Business Liability Insurance_
- _Your own valid WSIB_
- _Your own vehicle (Van or Truck with good tires for all weather conditions) with ladder rack_
- _Tools (Ladders, Hand tools, Drills, extension Cord, etc.)_
- **This job is a piecework, contractor position.**_
- A minimum 2-week training period is required, during your training you will develop a thorough understanding of the systems that we install and service, the installation process, and you will be supported in meeting the above requirements._
