As we continue to grow and expand; we are hiring a Loss Prevention Operator for our Home Office team in Ottawa. The successful Loss Prevention associate will be an individual seeking a challenging and interesting career.

**Loss Prevention Operator, Job Highlights**:

- Assist in the execution of loss prevention activities and programs;
- Monitor those entering and exiting the Home Office in accordance with requirements;
- Responsible to maintain logs including: Access Cards, Visitor Badges, Keys, & Security Patrols etc.
- Observe and supervise security camera systems and Alarm Systems.
- Investigate any asset loss, property damage or other security related incidents at the Home Office
- Provide direct support to the Loss Prevention Team and Facility Operations;
- Provide assistance to Stores as needed;
- Complete designated tasks as directed by manager.

**Loss Prevention Operator, Job Requirements**:

- Completion of High School is required; Diploma in Law Enforcement and/or Police Foundations would be considered a strong asset;
- Ontario Security Guard License;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Bilingualism is an asset;
- First Aid is an asset
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations calmly and professionally;
- Strong attention to detail and have strong analytical and problems solving skills;
- Self-motivated; ability to work without direct supervision;
- Intermediate PC skills, within a Windows environment;
- Ability to work under strict confidentially, high ethical standards, combined with a common sense approach;
- Loss prevention experience - either through education or work experience;
**Loss Prevention Operator Schedule**:
This is an overnight position that requires working On Site, and a 12 hour shifts. The schedule will alternate weekly: 7:00pm to 7:00am Sunday-Tuesday for Week 1, and 7:00pm-7:00am Saturday-Tuesday for Week 2. Overtime shifts are also available.

**Salary**: $35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
