Asphalt Plant Operator

- H&H Construction is currently recruiting for experienced, motivated, and reliable Asphalt Plant Operator/Batcher to work at our Asphalt plant in Petawawa, ON.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications and current construction practices
- 3 years minimum foreman’s experience with Civil Construction
- Will be reporting to a Superintendent
- Must have leadership, planning and motivational skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with day to day asphalt production activities
- Monitoring asphalt plant operations to ensure efficient plant operations
- Safely unload truckloads of liquid asphalt
- Various mechanical duties such as working on, and maintaining bearings and belts
- Perform other activities at the asphalt plant, as directed

**Working Conditions**:

- Working at the asphalt plant
- Regular work shifts of 12 hours per day
- Requires some extended shifts when needed
- Exposure to the elements
- Some physical work - lifting
- Working at heights
