We are looking for a **Quality Assurance Technician** to join our Quality Assurance team Our Quality Assurance

Technician will help us ensure the fast and accurate handling of documents and products/material tests to support the quality team.

**OPPORTUNITIES**

This is a very exciting time as you will get a chance to learn our unique processes and techniques and champion quality assurance for MeadowFresh. The QA Technician will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that raw material or finished product is inspected and released in time and that non-conforming product disposition is handled in an efficient manner.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**
- You have a working knowledge of CFIA standards
- You understand HACCP concepts and processes (training in HACCP)
- You have intermediate-level Excel, Word, and Outlook skills

**EXPERIENCE**
- You have a Degree/Diploma in Food Science/Food Technology or a related discipline
- You have experience working in a similar capacity, preferably in a food production facility or a food testing lab

**NICE-TO-HAVE**
- You have experience troubleshooting complex QA issues

**THINGS YOU WILL DO**
- Perform daily pre-operational checks and quality operational checks.
- Perform lab procedures and other designated QA tasks when needed
- Collect samples and perform chemical and microbiological testing
- Assist in food safety audits and mock recalls
- Perform routine QA duties as per standard operating procedures

**OTHER**
- You must be available to work shifts that rotate every month:

- Mon-Fri 5:00 AM - 1:00 AM; 9:00 PM - 5:30 PM

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
