**General Accounting Manager**

Blanco Canada Inc. is looking for an General Accounting Manager to join our team. The General Accounting Manager is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation, posting, analysis and reporting of accounting data for the US and CAN markets. This position will report into the Director of Finance, North America.

**Education and Experience**:

- University Degree in Accounting
- Accounting designation is an asset (CPA)
- Several years of professional experience in the accounting department
- IT affinity and especially deep SAP-FI and SD knowledge
- Experienced handling of MS Office and advanced excel
- Ability of decision-making
- Accurate, independent, self-reliant, and responsible way of working, ability to work in a team and initiative
- Analytical and detail oriented

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- General Ledger and account maintenance and reconciliation
- Adhere to harmonization requirements for GL (usage of same accounts)
- Month-end and year-end closing for Corporate Headquarters and local standard reporting
- Manage interim and year-end financial audit, government audits, IC processes, reconciliation and reporting
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis - special requests, management reports
- Oversee and post journal entries in SAP, setup recurring entries
- Maintain up to date documentation of all work processes
- Lead accounting projects as required to improve, standardize and automate processes
- Manage the treasury function including Cash Planning, Banking, FX analysis and reconciliations

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
