**The Position**:
We have an opening for a **Technical Trainer **to join our Personal Insurance Department at one of our branch offices in NS & NB

**What you will be doing**:

- Assess training needs and develop programs to meet individual and group training requirements.
- Develop training schedule and resources according to training needs.
- Develop skills and knowledge of new and existing Insurance Advisors by training on systems, insurance market products and rating, workflows through classroom learning, one on one coaching or on-line learning.
- Administer training and Assess Outcomes of progress and achievements. Consult with management on development of Insurance Advisors.
- Responsible to help build and drive efficiencies within the teams’ individual daily job accountabilities.
- Perform audits to ensure tools, workflows and processes are applied in order to meet company requirements.
- Communicate, implement and monitor strategies to ensure goals and objectives are attained.
- Listen to calls for Brokers
- Side by Side coaching sessions
- Assist with training new hires
- Additional duties as required

**What we want from you**:

- Post Secondary Education
- 3-5 years or more of personal lines insurance experience
- Previous training experience an asset
- Level 2 General Insurance license
- CIP, CRM or CAIB designation preferred
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of Brokerage Management services and tools
- Strong customer focus; understand the needs of the customer (internal and external)
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
