**The Role**
- Entegris is hiring a
- ** Material Handler** to support the growth at our
- **Toronto, ON** manufacturing facility. This role requires an energetic and hard-working individual to join the logistics team to support internal material handling activities, and the processing of incoming and outgoing deliveries according to established procedures and guidelines.**In this role you will**
- Safely operate a forklift, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and store Dangerous Goods and other vendor acquired materials;
- Sign for shipments and verifying that the correct merchandise has been received;
- Perform inspections and promptly processing deliveries into the inventory management system;
- Conduct inventory cycle counts including weighing and recordings weights of inventoried goods;
- Work cross functionally with procurement, production, maintenance and engineering, lab and quality to support requirements;
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for handling of hazardous goods;
- Operate hand tools and other equipment;
- Ensure the upkeep, cleanliness, and organization of company storage facilities;
- Work safely as an utmost priority and contribute to building the company safety culture;
- Perform other warehousing and logistics assignments as required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience working in a fast paced warehouse environment;
- Ability to safely operate warehouse machinery and equipment;
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Bending, lifting, turning, on feet for long periods of time.
- Forklift experience with a valid forklift license preferred;
- Experience handling hazardous or sensitive goods, knowledge of WHMIS, GHS, TDG preferred;
- High standards of organization, attention to detail, and procedural mindset;
- Astute attention to safety requirements and use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate and problem solve cross functionally;
- Adaptable to shifting daily priorities with a sense of urgency and care;.
- Able to read and write the English language. Education is high school diploma or GED equivalent;
- Flexibility to work over-time, and weekends to support business needs when required;
- Experience working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment is a plus
