**Position**:Back Framer

**Site Location**:Current sites in Collingwood and Town of Durham, Ontario.

The job entails all back framing needed for low-rise residential construction. Our sites are currently located in the town of Collingwood and the town of Durham (north of Mt. Forest, Hwy 6). This position will be mostly based in Collingwood.

General duties will include:

- Boxing for bulkheads.
- Frame in mechanicals where necessary.
- Frame in showers and tubs.
- Basement framing.
- Box in the stairs and build landings.
- Form porches for pouring.
- Check studs are plumb.
- Install temporary railings.
- Installing some windows if needed.
- Other back framing work as required by Site Supervisor.
- Collaborate with other construction personnel to ensure project completion.

Qualifications:

- 5+ Years experience in framing/back framing including wood framing and forming of porches.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans and interpreting schematics.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Competency in using power tools and hand tools for construction work.
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
- Must have own tools.

Training experience such as Working at Heights and First Aid Certification is a plus

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
