Supervisor position

To assist female senior with Parkinson's & early stage Dementia

The first responsibility of caregiver is to develop awareness and understanding not only of the disease itself, but how it is affecting the patient they are caring for. In general, the caregiver must look out for the physical safety of the patient, especially as Alzheimer's can cause erratic behavior, a tendency to wander, and impaired motor skills and coordination.

At its core, caregiving involves basic support and assistance in daily activities. Varying amounts of help might be needed depending on the patient and how far the disease has progressed. Assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing and eating are common responsibilities. Caregivers are requited to provide vehicle transportation and assist with walking.

Alzheimer's disease is frightening, unpleasant and disorienting to patients. Emotional support and friendship can be one of the most beneficial things that a caregiver provides. A caretaker must observe and provide assistance in family relations, social interactions. It is very important to have a positive emotional influence on the life of the patient.

Must have drivers license and clear abstract and love dogs

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
