What you do:

- Greeting and assisting customers and their furry friends
- Point of sale cashier
- Sales performance and product knowledge will be expected
- Preparing online orders and home delivery orders
- Sweeping, dusting and other general store maintenance functions
- Assist in unloading delivery vehicles of cases and bags of pet food and supplies and putting these into stock (items up to 40 lbs)
- Store opening and closing

What you bring:

- Previous retail sales experience is preferred.
- Retail pet store experience considered an asset.
- Knowledge of pet nutrition will be considered an asset
- Working knowledge of POS systems
- Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs repetitively
- Ability to work as scheduled, to meet attendance requirements, which may include weekends and evenings
- Ability to have reliable means of transportation to and from the store
