Danish Pastry House is seeking a dynamic and talented **Daytime Baker **for their production facility on the Mississauga/Oakville border.

Getting there: Public transportation (1 km away) or access to a reliable vehicle is recommended.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of a variety of desserts, pastries and other baked goods for bakery cafes
- Follow company health and safety policies and processes
- Must maintain food quality and hygiene standards

**Skills and Experience**
- _Minimum 3 year’s experience _scratch baking in a professional bakery
- 3 years professional baking
- 3 years food handling
- 3 years scratch baking
- Energetic with a positive work ethic
- Able to multi-task
- Reliable and able to work independently with confidence
- Able to work as a team under the Department Manager
- Must be able to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skill
- Able to read instructions and follow directions in English
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Must be accountable for the quality and standard of products produced
- Able to pay attention to detail
- First Aid, WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety familiarity
- Food handling certification

**Immediate Start**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
