**The Bread and Butter of the Position**:
If you are the type of person that loves organizing, has great attention to detail and enjoys keeping moving all day, we'd love to consider you for our Shipper Receiver Position.
Our Shipper Receiver is an integral part of our operations, responsible for receiving product and putting it away, keeping our warehouse clean, organized, and operating at max efficiency, shipping product from our Kirkpatrick location to our Veyaness location, including transferring our artisanal products with pride and care between our facilities.

Bonus points for previous commercial driving experience Our Shipper Receiver must be able to drive a combination of 1 ton and 5 ton trucks.
Reporting to the Production Manager, our Shipper Receiver is responsible for:
**Receiving**:
- Receiving deliveries and preparing all documentation to maintain the standards of our food safety program
- Ensuring that all deliveries received meet our food safety standards
- Ensure that all documentation is filled out accurately and in real time
- Ensuring all received materials are put away quickly and following FIFO
- Making sure that the warehouse is clean and well organized
- Recording all damaged product
- Making sure that all deliveries are made by approved suppliers
- Making sure that all materials received are on our approved materials list
- Working with Procurement to make sure that all product order is received according to our purchase orders
**Shipping**:
- Prepare all finished product for shipping
- Ensure that all finished products to be shipped are properly labelled, organized, and assembled to ensure that products will reach the customer undamaged
- Ensure that all documentation is accurate and complete
- All discrepancies are communicated to appropriate department
- Loading of all finished product onto Transfer truck in a safe and organized manner
- Delivering of finished product to our Veyaness location via our transfer truck (1 ton or 5 ton truck)
**General**
- Complete all administrative duties and paperwork as assigned
- Support the packaging department with end of line duties
- Make sure the exterior premise is clean, organized and free of debris
- Work closely with supervisors, QA and procurement
- Inventory management
- Raw material preparation for daily production shifts
- Supporting our operations by maintaining excellent warehouse organization and working with the Order Building and Packaging Teams to ensure all time goals are met
- Maintain a “clean as you go” work process
**Shifts and availability**:
- 8 hour shifts,
- Must be available to work Monday to Friday
- Must be available to start work between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM
- This is a full-time permanent position
**The Ingredients You Bring to the Table**:
- Desire to embrace the role and take ownership of our shipping and receiving department and warehouse.
- Previous driving experience is an asset
- Forklift ticket - we will train
- Ability to use a hand and electric jack
- The ability to lift up to 50lbs
- A class 5 driver’s license
- A clean driver’s abstract from the past 5 years, with no major infractions
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment cooperatively
- A willingness to learn and grow

- A commitment to punctuality and reliability, showing up to shifts on time and ready to work
- Strong Communication Skills
- The ability to work independently, as well as in a group
- The ability to work on your feet for extended periods

- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is considered an asset

- $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
