Tutor Doctor Saskatoon is dedicated to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments for children with diverse needs. Currently, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Autism Elementary Tutor to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement individualized educational plans based on the specific needs and abilities of each student with autism.
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to reinforce academic concepts and promote skill development in areas such as language arts, mathematics, and social skills.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to align tutoring activities with the overall curriculum and educational goals.
- Employ evidence-based teaching strategies and adaptive resources to address diverse learning styles within the autism spectrum.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional approaches as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence, independence, and social interaction.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other relevant stakeholders regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with elementary students with autism spectrum disorder.
- Familiarity with various teaching strategies and resources tailored to the needs of students with autism.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the academic and social growth of children with autism.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
