**The Opportunity**:
The WestRock Mississauga Folding (labels) facility is looking for a** Maintenance Starter** to work with the Maintenance team. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager and is responsible for day-to-day maintenance tasks of the facility including completing building repairs, projects and supporting all departments as needed.

**How you will impact WestRock**:

- Assists on maintenance projects when needed.
- Performs minor plumbing repairs and installations.
- Operates floor scrubbing equipment
- Maintains the grounds maintenance including, debris cleanup, removing snow, and ice.
- Operates scissor lift and fork lift as needed.
- Performs facility repairs and maintenance in all departments with mínimal supervision.
- Performs routine painting, light bulb changes and other related maintenance.

**What you need to exceed**:

- Must have a minimum of 2 years related experience (e.g. general building maintenance, cleaning, etc.)
- Must have a knowledge of basic electricity sufficient to differentiate fluorescent light tubes (e.g., rapid start, instant, who, etc.) and change ballasts.
- Must be able to work at heights safely.
- Must hold a valid "G" driver’s license and counterbalance forklift license.
- Ability to stand and walk 100% of shift on a concrete floor and ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to maintain good attendance.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
