This position is full time and permanent so we are not looking for seasonal students.

One year experience in an Optometric clinic or Optical store is required. We will not consider applicants without experience.

We are looking for a positive and caring Optometric Assistant who loves to interact and help our patients. We are a family-focused eye care clinic offering premium eye care. We focus on eye care and eyeglasses services.

Duties and responsibilities for the role (but are not limited to):
Performing autorefractometer, lensometer, OCT and visual field is required for the job acceptance.

Be familiar with OHIP codes and online insurance claims submission is a must.

Greeting, check in and checkout patients and providing the best patient care.

Scheduling, recalling and confirming patients’ appointments and answering calls.

Perform general office support duties as required.

**Requirements**:
Strong computer and communication skills.

One year experience in Optometric clinic or Optical store is required.

Hourly Wages: - commensurate with years of experience (minimum 1 year experience)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
