Serves as the technical expert for the Company on surveillance equipment, software and technologies for the protection of Company assets, staff and guests, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Administers, coordinates and maintains all Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and access control equipment.
- Manages sub-contracted repairs and installations of systems and ensures value is obtained from sub-contractors.
- Ensures the CCTV system and access control systems conform with gaming regulators requirements.
- Troubleshoots hardware and software issues pertaining to the surveillance network and provides resolutions.
- Trains Surveillance officers and other parties in the operation of CCTV and access control equipment.
- Keeps up to date on new technologies, processes, gaming regulators policies and procedures and related to job function and attends training when required.
- Consults with management and recommends security and surveillance products and technologies.

**What You Bring**
- Post secondary education in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
- 3 years experience with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and other security systems such as access control, camera security, and Digital Video Recorders (DVRs)
- Working knowledge of Lan/Wan Networking, user/group setup and LAN security setup
- Working knowledge of PC hardware, peripherals, installations and repairs
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP Internetworking, routing and switch management
- Working knowledge of Windows 7/XP, Microsoft Office 2003/2007/2010
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and to take initiative
- Proven ability to learn on the job and to stay current with new technology
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in user-friendly language
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Physical ability to inspect and repair equipment on location
- Reliable transportation for travel between sites; travel outside of the Lower Mainland may be required at times.
- Ability to obtain a gaming license via the Gaming Policy & Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
