Casual General Labourer - New Hamburg, ON

What's in it for you?

You must be legally eligible to work and currently residing in Canada.

The Opportunity

**Responsibilities**:
The general labour department works in the chick room with general duties such as grading and preparing the delivery although they also support in other departments based on business needs which could include:

- Sanitation: Ensuring our hatchery equipment is fully sanitized with the use of power hoses and our box wash machine.
- Machine Operator: Working with our Embrex Machine to vaccinate the chick while it still in the egg
- Driver Helper: Supporting our drivers with delivering our product to various farm locations across Ontario

Job Requirements:

- Must be capable of standing for long periods
- Must be capable of lifting 40lbs. Repetitively (overhead lifting required)
- Must be able to work in a wet/humid environment
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to follow SOP’S & schedules
- Must adhere to HACCP requirements
