Tasting Room Manager

Position: Tasting Room Manager - Vieni Estates Winery

**Job Description**:
Vieni Estates Winery is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tasting Room Manager to lead the experience in our tasting room. The Tasting Room Manager will be responsible for the day to day processes in the tasting room, including sales, operations and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead our team by example. Going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service to all visitors while inspiring the team to do the same.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a positive customer experience
- Drive sales through effective promotion and marketing of the winery and its products
- Oversee the daily operation of the tasting room, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management
- Coordinate and execute wine tastings, tours, and special events
- Work with other departments and leaders to ensure operations at Vieni run seamlessly
- Work across functions to execute the days activities at Veini
- Maintain a clean and organized tasting room, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Continuously evaluate and improve the tasting room experience for customers
- Working closely with other Managers to ensure our customer experiences is exceptional across the business
- Collaborate on other areas of the business to staff and execute experiences

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in a tasting room or hospitality management role
- Proven track record in sales, customer service, and staff management
- Strong knowledge of wine, wine production, and the wine industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Passion for the wine industry and a desire to create an outstanding customer experience

Average 44 hours per week but will vary seasonally.

Salary is dependent upon the level of experience.

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
