**Department Overview**
- TD Direct Investing provides financial services to clients who manage their own investments and empowers them to do so with confidence through state-of-the-art technologies, access to market information, educational resources, and customer support. We acquire and service clients through our partnership with TD Canada Trust (TDCT), our contact centers, and digitally.
- This Direct Investing Specialist (DIS) will support the Downtown North Shore in its Direct Investing Business Development activities. This is a key sales position for TD Direct Investing with an emphasis on acquisition and customer success. The primary objective is to meet and exceed individual and team volume acquisition goals through upskilling TDCT colleagues in branch and virtually, participate in OneTD meetings, and proactively engaging clients.
- Increase engagement and revenue from Direct Investing clients through education and enabling them to be confident and engaged investors
- Support TDCT partners with the opening of new accounts and uncover additional assets held elsewhere to consolidate with TD
- Establish rapport with all potential clients to transfer new assets to TD Direct Investing
- Strong commitment to customer service, with a strong emphasis on LEI (New Account management, education, proactive calls, etc.)
- Build robust activity tracking through DI's CRM tools
- Effectively communicate client business opportunities to TD Canada Trust (TDCT) and Wealth partners resulting in increased business to TD Bank Group (TDBG)
- Manage all day-to-day operational and logístical functions to ensure compliance with TD Direct Investing standards and policies, be knowledgeable of and comply with Bank and IIROC codes of conduct and with securities laws and regulations.

**Job Requirements**
- Hybrid Model: A successful DIS must be able to visit their branches in their assigned territory multiple days in each week. Ability to travel is required.
- Strong self-motivation and organizational skills
- Proven sales success within TD
- Outbound call experience
- Knowledge of the WebBroker platform
- Familiarity and comfort with the account opening and transfer-in procedures
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Work independently
- Balance work week with hybrid time at home and TDCT branches
- Must successfully complete IIROC licensing requirements (CSC, CPH, IIROC Training Program) within nine months of start date
