**What you will do**:

- Define and document business functions and processes.
- Consult with functional unit management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of system access.
- Act as a liaison between departmental end-users, mechanical engineers, information technology analysts, and consultants in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of case management systems to ensure optimal operational performance.
- Analyze the feasibility of, and develop requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensure the system design fits the needs of the user and the business.
- Track and fully document changes for functional and business specifications; write detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training.
- Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system changes; assist in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.
- Plan, organize and conduct business process reengineering/improvement projects.
- Conduct change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and document business rules, functions and requirements.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.
- Provide technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff.
- Develop training curriculum and conduct formal training sessions covering assigned systems modules.
- Direct or participate in studies of new and existing programs and special projects to determine feasibility, resolve problems including organizational, procedural, technical and fiscal research and analysis.
- Provide work direction to one or more technical or clerical staff or act as a team lead on designated projects or assignments.

**What you bring**:

- Business, accounting, or Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
- 4 - 6 years in business analysis.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office products (Visio, Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with SQL and relational databases as well as a solid grasp of data structures.
- Extensive experience gathering business requirements from the business.
- Strong work ethic and critical thinking skills.
- Strong analytical skills and can produce end-to-end view of business processes and data flows.
- Excellent communications skills including business writing and presentation skills.
- Commitment to continuous business process optimization.
