**Job Description**:

- Supporting the delivery of a range of land use planning projects and other specialized studies for municipal and private sector clients and Indigenous communities across Western Canada
- Supporting the delivery of stakeholder engagement activities and deliverables through in-person attendance at public meetings and preparation of related supporting materials
- Collaborating with members of the Urban Planning Group and other professionals in the Infrastructure Division to deliver high-quality project deliverables on time and within the budget assigned
- Supporting client relationships and business growth through contributions to proposal writing
- Liaising with other professionals, local municipalities, and government agencies concerning planning and development submissions
- Preparing a variety of planning figures, drawings and illustrations using AutoCAD

The position offers flexibility, independence, and opportunities for creativity and professional advancement. You will join a dynamic team active on civil, municipal, and industrial engineering projects for a variety of public and private sector clients.

**Job Requirements**:
What you will bring:

- A bachelor’s or graduate degree in planning from an accredited planning program as defined by the Professional Standards Board.
- Full membership in the Saskatchewan Professional Planners Institute, or eligibility to achieve full membership within two (2) years of accepting the position.
- Functional understanding of municipal planning processes and legislation in Saskatchewan.
- Ability to creatively handle a variety of complex issues having physical, economic, environmental, and social dimensions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analysis skills
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Hold a valid driver's license, have access to a vehicle, and are willing to occasionally travel for work (sometimes to remote locations outside Saskatoon).
- Demonstrated practical public or private sector planning experience is an asset.
