Mold Polisher

**Reporting to and under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager, this position is responsible for but not limited to**:

- The handwork and polishing of all tooling to A1 finish requirements
- Mastering parting line and pockets
- Attend tools samples both local and at customer facilities, for various sized metal work pieces during the mold/die build or repair according to customer specifications and requirements.
- Ensure that all work in progress is being completed in a timely fashion to maintain job delivery requirements.
- Fitting and spotting of mold actions and parting lines
- Knowledge of various steel types is an asset
- Previous automotive lighting tool experience is an asset

**Position Requirements**:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience
- Must be able to work to tight deadlines and ability to work overtime
- Must be able to travel in andaround Windsor (90%) and United States (10%) for trial support
- Must have good communication skills and ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD data
- Physical ability to handle all tools and equipment as necessary
- Able to operate overheard crane & hoist systems safely
