Crieff Hills Retreat Centre provides rest and renewal for a weary world. Facilities include an historic dining room, conference hall, retreat houses and group accommodation, as well as private retreat suites for individuals and couples. We operate a culinary farm that includes fruit, vegetables, chickens, quail, sheep, honey and maple syrup production. We host both day and overnight programs for people from all walks of life. **Job Description**:
All of Crieff Hills’ financial transactions will be properly recorded and all necessary payments made according to Canadian Revenue Agency standards. Experience with QuickBooks (online and desktop) required.

Accounts Payable
- Track all invoices
- Promptly issue payments to service and supply companies
- Submit HST quarterly
- Maintain auto insurance payments and driver information
- Reimburse board members for submitted mileage or approved expenses

Accounts Receivable
- Track guest invoices and payments using in-house hospitality software
- Follow up on outstanding invoices
- Track sales of Crieff Hills products
- Manage petty cash
- Make regular bank deposits
- Manage all electronic payments
- Close credit card machine weekly and monthly
- Deposit rental house cheques and provide receipts

Payroll
- Prepare and transmit payroll
- Submit CRA, WSIB and PCC benefit contributions
- Track staff hours, sick days and vacation
- Prepare annual T4s
- With the director, submit any necessary WSIB claims
- Prepare and send ROE’s

Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate, confidential records according to CRA guidelines and timelines
- Prepare for annual audit with accounting firm
- Provide any requested financial documents to the Maclean Estate Committee and Presbyterian Church in Canada

Donations
- Receive and deposit all donations
- Issue and send tax receipts for all donations over $25
- With the Executive Director, send thank you letters to every donor

Reporting
- Prepare and review financial statements monthly
- Monitor budget and cash flow

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour
