A bit about our centre...
Our location is 352 York Street in Bridgewater with an off site after school program at Bridgewater Elementary School. We offer programs for children 18 months to 12 years. Our location has a beautiful large indoor classroom, a natural backyard for 18 month to 3 year old children and 5 amazing forest pods adjacent to the centre for each group of children. We offer a Reggio Inspired Curriculum with a focus on forest and nature. Weekly supports include lower ratios with an Earth Education or Art/Music enhancement.

**Salary**: $19.67-$25.12 per hour according to NS ECE Wage Salary Scale

**Main Duties**:
**The Early Childhood Educator should be able to**:
v Coordinate and facilitate groups, with the ability to plan, develop, implement, monitor, promote and evaluate centre-based programs

v Establish and maintain positive relationships with staff, families, community and partners

v Work well both independently and with mínimal supervision

v Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)

v Demonstrate an interest and willingness in pursuing professional development opportunities

v Enjoy and work well with children

v Attend monthly Staff meetings

v Record and complete all monthly documentations

v Complete individual portfolio pages on each child in the classrooms

**Required Qualifications**:
v Provide mandatory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Checks and Child Abuse Registry Check

v Early Childhood Education Certification Level 1, 2, 3 preferred

v Current First Aid, Infant CPR and WHMIS

**Salary**: $19.67-$25.12 per hour
