North Bay, Canada Evergreen Landscaping Full time

The DZ Driver is responsible for pick ups and deliveries and operation of the Dump Truck to our various jobsites. This job can be part time or full time depending on the person.

**Detail Overview of Responsibilities**:

- Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas
- **Efficiently Produce Work**:_
- Transport materials in a safe manner
- Pre-trip inspections of the truck and maintain proper logs
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects
- Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying
- Operate various tools including: chainsaws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc

- Proven experience as a driver, preferably with experience operating heavy equipment
- Perform work quickly and efficiently, demanding excellence in quality of work
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks
- Desire to embrace and use technology

**Minimum Qualifications and Educational Requirements**:

- Dump Truck Experience is an asset
- Minimum 5 years experience is an asset
- Pay will be determined based on level of experience
- Must posses a valid DZ Drivers License and a clean driving record. Abstract required
- Better wage will be provided based on proof of years insured

**Work Conditions**:

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent stamina is required
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
- Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold
- Flexible working hours; could include weekend work, long hours, and work outside of 7:30 A.M. to 5 P.M. time frame as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
