Sungiven Foods Canada Inc. is a Specialty Boutique Neighbourhood Market with carefully selected private brand products. We ensure that our products are natural, mínimally processed with less artificial additives.

We are currently looking for a Marketing Assistant.

**Responsibilities**:
The Marketing Assistant, will report directly to the Branding and Marketing Manager, and is responsible for achieving sales and profit objectives for a specific merchandise category or categories. This responsibility includes the development and successful implementation of buying strategies, merchandise programs and marketing plans.

**Video Production**:

- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos for various marketing campaigns.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop video content that aligns with our brand message and goals.
- Ensure all video content is engaging, on-brand, and optimized for social media platforms.

**Social Media Management**:

- Manage and maintain the company’s social media accounts, with a focus on Instagram, WeChat and Xiaohongshu.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and follower growth.
- Create and curate engaging content (images, videos, captions) tailored to each platform’s audience.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance.

**Content Creation**:

- Assist in the creation of marketing materials, such as blog posts, newsletters, and promotional graphics.
- Collaborate with the design team to produce visually appealing content.

**Market Research**:

- Conduct market research to identify trends and insights relevant to our industry.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.

**Administrative Support**:

- Provide administrative support to the marketing department, including scheduling, coordination, and communication.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Proven experience in video production and editing.
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, WeChat and Xiaohongshu.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Ability to speak conversational Mandarin is preferred

Pay: $38,500.00-$46,000.00 per year
