**Recreation Receptionist**:
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Regional District of Nanaimo is seeking a casual Recreation Receptionist to join the Recreation and Parks Department. This is a public facing position focused on assisting the public in accessing recreation programs, facilities, events, and services. The job is based out of Qualicum Beach and Parksville.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
High School Diploma (Grade 12) plus one (1) to twelve (12) months prior job-related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience working with ActiveNet or other recreation registration software is an asset. Current First Aid certification, equivalent to WCB Level One, is a requirement.

**POSITION DETAILS**
This is a casual Union position with varied hours of work including evenings and weekends. The (2024) rate of pay is $30.45 to $32.05 plus 9% in lieu of benefits including vacation and statutory holidays.
