Manager, Creative Services

What We Need

We are looking for a Manager, Creative Services to join Element Fleet Management in a unique industry and at a rapidly growing organization.

The Manager, Creative Services is responsible for leading the development of visual design solutions for both internal and external use, working in collaboration with marketing and communications leads.

A Day in the Life

Project management
- Oversee the entire creative process from concept to production, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget

Stakeholder Management
- Meet with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, present ideas, and gather feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
- Working with stakeholders to offer alternative solutions when a request is out of scope for the team
- Manage external vendors and freelancers and ensure effective and efficient use of resources

Brand visual identity lead
- Act as brand ambassador for Element brand and ensure consistent and aligned usage
- Implement quality assurance process to maintain high standards in all creative outputs, including mandates around brand compliance
- Ensure internal and external developed creative is consistent with brand standards

Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of creative professionals, including designers and content writers to ensure high-quality output
- Lead creative brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams
- Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects, balancing workloads and ensuring optimal productivity
- Continuously seek ways to improve workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and creativity
- Drive and facilitate training and development plans for team, ensuring there is continuous learning and growth
- Manage project deliverables for the creative team and mentor members by providing guidance on any issues or queries related to relationship management, creative direction or project timelines
- Assist with the creation of marketing assets and promotional collateral as needed

Qualifications
- 7+ years’ experience in a marketing professional services, and/or creative agency environment
- Post-Secondary Education in Graphic Design or relevant field
- Proficient in Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and basic After Effects, Premium Pro understanding.
- Experience with storyboarding and basic knowledge on video editing and animation with a digital first approach
- Basic to intermediate working knowledge of motion graphics and custom animations
- Knowledge of creative, social and web design, consistently bringing innovative solutions and delivering client service excellence

Knowledge & Competencies
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a collaborative culture
- Strong project management skills, detail oriented, flexible in style and approach, and able to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Experience in conceptualization, solution development, campaign execution and client relationship management
- Excellent communication skills, ability to clearly explain design concepts and solutions. Open to collaboration and constructive feedback
- Proven problem-solving skills, detail oriented, ability to perform under pressure
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced environment
- Previous people or team management experience
- Knowledge of UI/UX concepts
- Influencing skills
- Agility and a ‘can-do’ mind-set are critical to be successful in this role
