IT Specialist

**As the **IT Specialist **at DHL, you’ll have an integral role in the design and implementation of the organizations’ IT infrastructure.** **This includes managing and supporting hardware, software, networks, and server systems to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all technology-related functions. The IT Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, deploy, and optimize infrastructure solutions that meet the organization's requirements.

**IN THIS JOB YOU WILL**:

- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks.
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery processes are in place and regularly tested.
- Conduct regular system and network performance analysis, identify areas of improvement, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate new systems and technologies into the existing infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation of IT infrastructure processes, configurations, and procedures.

**YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure systems.
- Strong knowledge of server administration, network protocols, and security principles.
- Proficiency in managing virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with storage systems, backup solutions, and disaster recovery planning.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
- Basic Programming language (java, c#, vb scripting )
- Strong knowledge in data bases (MySQL, SQL) and in batch scripting
- Power tool usage such as (Uipath, Power BI) is an asset
