Ophthalmic Technician

**Duties**:
- Perform preliminary eye examinations, including taking patient history and performing vision tests
- Administer eye drops as directed by the ophthalmologist
- Conduct various ophthalmic tests, such as visual field testing, OCT, biometry (IOL Master, A-Scan)
- Prepare patients for surgery and provide post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic medical records (ACCURO)
**Experience**:
- Previous experience as an ophthalmic technician or similar role is preferred
- Experience with OCT, Visual Field, IOL Master/A-Scan experience is considered an asset
- Experience with EMR (specifically ACCURO) an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
